*Image Sets

There will be at most one Half Body (Base) charge and one Full Body (Base) charge for the full set. Each additional figure throughout the panels will count as an Extra Half or Full Body Pose, based on cropping (how much of the character is visible).

Each separate Full Illustration panel is charged with base pricing.

Details

Process

  • SUBMIT ORDER – Fill out the Order Form in the Pricing section above, providing your contact info and reference images. You can use anything for your references, including 3D and AI Images!
    If I select your idea, I will contact you on Discord for your invoice.
  • PAYMENT – 100% upfront for new clients, 50% upfront for return clients. The finished images will only be delivered after the commission is paid in full.
  • DRAFTS – I will send you drafts of the commission for feedback. After selecting a draft, you may request a limited number of free Minor Revisions (see Pricing). Once I have your approval, I’ll move on to Rendering.
  • RENDER – Major Revisions during this stage (e.g. pose changes) will be subject to an Alt Version charge, unless it is due to a misunderstanding on my part.
    I have the right to refuse any requested themes or subject matters (see my “Will Not Draw” list).
  • POST-PROCESSING – This is where I add text, SFX and VFX.
  • CANCELLATIONS – After I begin working, all commission fees are non-refundable. If for some reason I am unable to complete your commission, I will issue you a full refund.

*Free changes are generally limited to 3 minor revisions. Excessive minor revisions may require an additional “Alt Version” charge.

Ethical AI Assistance

I use a custom AI model I finetuned on my own artwork (“Self Style Model”) to assist in the rendering process. This allows me to make revisions and Alt Versions faster while maintaining full control of my original drawing and painting style!

My workflow goes like this:

I go back and forth between AI and Manual Paintovers, fixing every single detail, and each round of feedback I’ll work with you to match your exact specifications.

The delivered project file contains fully separated characters, backgrounds, text, and SFX/VFX in case you wish to do further editing!

Terms of Service

These terms are between myself (“TangoBat“, “me”, or  “I”), and you (the “Client”). By ordering a commission you agree to these Terms.

  • NO MINORS – You must be 18 or older to use my services, which include my commissions, Discord Server, online storefronts (e.g. Itch.io), and subscription sites (e.g. SubStar, Patreon).
  • ITEMS – These Terms cover the finalized images and project files that I produce in accordance to the Client’s specifications (the “Commissioned Works”), and the preliminary or work-in-progress images that I show to the Client for approval (the “Progress Works”). Either I or the Client may determine that the Commissioned Works are finalized.
  • DELIVERY – After the Commissioned Works are finalized, and after the Client has fully paid the agreed upon commission fees, I will digitally deliver the Commissioned Works to the Client.
  • COPYRIGHT – I retain exclusive, worldwide copyright over the Commissioned Works and Progress Works. This includes my rights to share, publish, edit, and commercially use these items. If any of the featured characters are the Intellectual Property of the Client, I will credit the Client appropriately in any publications.
  • PERSONAL USE – I give the Client a Personal Use License for the Commissioned Works, which allows for non-commercial sharing and publication. When sharing or publishing, I ask that that the Client credits me as the Artist. This License does not include the Progress Works.
  • PROHIBITED USE – The Client MAY NOT use the Commissioned Works for any of the following: Unlicensed Commercial Use, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Generative AI (e.g. publishing AI-Generated alterations), or for promoting hate speech.
  • CANCELLATIONS – If the Client decides to cancel the Commissioned Works, he/she agrees to forfeit any Personal or Commercial Use License or any claims to the works produced, and agrees that I retain exclusive copyright over the Commissioned Works and Progress Works. The Client agrees that all commission fees are non-refundable.
 
Breaking these Terms of Service may result in you being blocked and/or blacklisted from my services, as well as the revocation of any Personal or Commercial Use License I’ve granted you for the Commissioned Works.

If you wish to feature or sell the Commissioned Works as part of a commercial product, you must first purchase my Commercial Use License.

Here is a brief summary of the license terms:

  • PRODUCTS – Products I consider to be commercial include, but are not limited to: Physical goods, digital goods, advertisements, monetized videos, and subscription paywalls.
  • SUBLICENSING – You can sublicense to third parties, provided that you contact me first. You cannot grant rights more permissive than the rights I grant you.
  • TRANSFER – You can transfer the license to a third party, provided that you contact me first. This ends your own license.
